OUR PHILOSOPHY
JWCI is committed to providing a full service Professional Civil Engineering and Surveying firm with ethical, personal relationships and true owner involvement in their projects.
Founded in 1994, the JWCI principals are committed to a plan of Quality Assurance and Control and are always actively involved in all projects. In order to accomplish this, a true TEAM approach is used wherein the Design Engineer and the Survey Technician collect the field data on projects and then personally perform the design and CAD services with owner oversight. This approach also enables the firm to provide the highest levels of Customer Service.
With our unique "Project Team Approach," all tasks are assigned to the design team, replacing the need for a specialized “field crew” or “draftsperson”. This requires the Design Engineer to be fully informed on all of the existing conditions on a project and diminishes the chance of omissions and errors that can cost time and money.
As part of the regular activity of JWCI, the field data is plotted and prepared into project form by the original team thereby eliminating the common practice of having the drawings prepared by persons not directly familiar with the project. For additional assured quality, all projects are designed using JWCI’s Construction Cost Methodology and Constructability Review that allows for a review by an independent contractor before being put out to bid or construction planning.
