CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer service or client service is another area  that sets JWCI apart from other consultants.  Our philosophy of direct client communication keeps us in tune at all times with the client. This company philosophy is the driving force in maintaining a company such as JWCI on a relatively small scale. This permits the principals to always be actively involved with the projects in the office while maintaining a close client relationship. It can limit the total volume of work that can be delivered at one time but improves the quality of the work. The active daily principal involvement in providing quality personal service carries a greater priority than just volume of business.

The driving force behind JWCI principals is receiving the personal gratification derived by practicing the profession and pleasing the client rather than allowing cost to be the driving force as to how a client is to receive service.

All projects have a start-up meeting initiated by JWCI.  The primary objective of this meeting is to gather together all possible client’s staff that would be affected. After the start-up meetings concluded, minutes will be prepared and distributed to all participants. When the project commences the minimum amount of project meetings requested will be monthly. Therefore, everyone can be apprised of the project progress and there is good two-way project communication. These meetings are also recorded and the minutes distributed to everyone involved.  Normally one of the principals will chair the project meetings. 

It is typical for Mr. Jones to contact the client periodically just to determine if the client is comfortable with the way everything is progressing and the performance of the design staff. This eliminates the probability of any problem developing due to lack of attention to the client's needs. Utility companies are also involved early on in the normal chain of communication. It is imperative that as soon as there is something to discuss with these companies they are contacted and their input obtained.

Another client service that JWCI provides is to hold appropriate meetings with the local community that will be impacted by the project. This permits the affected public officials and property owners to be kept abreast of the project and to meet key project and contractor personnel to ask questions that may concern This is another method of customer service that JWCI uses to move a project along smoothly and eliminate as many problems for the client as possible.
